Finding Me

But the thought was long,
I did not understand or worse i did not heed.
I had everything, so why was i so empty?

My View:
Now I'm a huge LP fan. They make awesome music. And some, no actually all, their lyrics are stupendous. The band as a whole is just amazing. Chester is an amazing vocalist. This is one of the few bands that their album has ALL awesome songs. You tend to like all. And they are not heavy metal and their rock music goes in many directions. So you can pick a favourite song. There are slow rock numbers and there are head bangers. So you get everything.

Why i chose this song was because i absolutely love the music and lyrics of this song. It's really amazing isn't it?  Don't we all fear leaving this world having accomplished nothing. The fear of not feeling missed when you're gone. People being happy that your dead. Atleast at some point in your life the thought might have crossed your mind: Would it matter to anyone if i died tomorrow?

The songs speaks about how one should hold no grudges. If you look closely it does. It talks about forgetting and forgiving and looking for good in people. Take all that's good in a person and "leave out all the rest" 

The song also speaks that even though one shows absolutely strong and level headed and "perfect" does not mean that there is not a storm going through their head. We all are vulnerable, it's just that some can hide it more than others. You can project anything to the world and may even be able to lie to yourself but for how long can you do that? At one time you will succumb to the lies.

Be yourself, whatever it is you are. Don't try and be like or act like someone else. Someone might be cool and talk cool but they can be one of the biggest a-holes roaming on the face of earth. I have met many people who use the "cool lingo" just cause someone else has used it or they saw it in a movie and not knowing squat of where to use it, but just to use it. Those people have no life. Be true to yourself cause at the end of the day your are answerable to yourself and no one else. Live life. Leave behind a a memory that will bring a smile in someone's face and not a frown. You don't know the future so make the present brighter.

After your dead your buried and that's it. It's over nothing can be done then. Don't regret things do something about it and learn from your mistakes. Be safe Love life.
